Have been slowly renovating our Edwardian house and am now working on the living room. Very high ceiling with a cornice. I had to reinstall a picture rail and have painted the ceiling, cornice and wall above the picture rail in white. Trouble is, the cornice is only just visible in daylight and all but invisible at night under artificial light.
Does anyone have any ideas. I'm thinking of going along the lines with a soft lead pencil to create a little shadow effect but there's got to be a better/proper method.
Thanks
