Hello,
Just replastered living room, kitchen and hall. Plasterer told painter to make sure he use 50/50 mist coat first. However, in an effort to get the job done quickly the 'painter' has put a very thick coat of leyland matt emulsion straight on (thankfully we stopped him before he got to the kitchen). My questions are:
1. How likely is this to peel?
and
2. Can we rectify this? eg. steam/stripscrape it back, etc and then do the 50/50 with a new painter
Any help would be greatly received
Thanks
