I will soon be sound proofing myh living room.To do this i am gonng to build a stud wall, and fill with something(havnt decided what yet).

Anyway, i am then going to plasterboard the stud wall twice.

Once i have done this, i them plan to paint straight onto the plasterboard.

I assume i need to fill in the gaps betwee boards, and also where the screwheads are.

My question is, should i just use normal filler fo this, or the tape stuff plasters use? If i use the tape stuff, wont this show when painted????

Cheers.
