ITV News reveals plans to discharge Covid-19 patients into care homes

NHS clinical commissioning groups and councils in 17 regions of England replied to ITV News telling us that they had reserved a total of 1,800 beds in care homes

Today when we questioned the health secretary, he didn’t deny that there had always been a plan to discharge patients into homes

That came out ages ago so why report it now? Scotland did too so Wales can probably be included.

Take note of the comment "not routinely tested". That doesn't mean that they deliberately transferred people with cv19. The earlier report found cases where covid had got in but not by that route. The conclusion was that a carer must have bought it in.

Bad aspects about care homes - testing and phe. Isolating the people moved out who just happened to be asymptomatic without ppe will cause problems. Some people were being infected in hospital at this point as well.

Mess up yes but stupid reports to use up space that are out of date don't help.

The put a protective ring or should I say rings around Cummings but not around Care homes apparently.

The force said it did not consider Mr Cummings had breached the regulations when self-isolating at his father’s farm in Durham at the end of March but that the trip to Barnard Castle did constitute a “minor breach”.

Its statement said the journey “might have been a minor breach of the regulations that would have warranted police intervention”.

The statement went on: “Durham Constabulary view this is as minor because there was no apparent breach of social distancing.

Poor filly you need to understand why they used the term might. What are your legal credentials apart from DM?
