hi trying to get disc off a nissan almera 2004 removed calliper plus bracket wheel the disc seems to move a bit around studs but is tight in the middle is there a hub nut holding it on under hub cap?

Probably a bit of rust build up behind the disc, so off and on with some hammer tapping and it'll come away.

So its not held on by the hub nut the hub cap hub bit looks part of disc
Presumably we're talking about the front discs here - they are definitely not part of the hub, and they come away seperately.
On some rear applications (Renault in particular) the disc, hub and bearings are one piece. They won't have the one or two locating screws in this case.

They seem to be held on by hub haynes manual says they jus pull off mind u haynes not always wright
I would say that Haynes are frequently incorrect.....!
Front or back discs?
If its the back ones, undo the hub nut and see if the whole assembly pulls clear.

My old Carina's disks were stuck solid, hammer did nothing. There was a little hole like a screw hole on the front surface of the disk, that was empty. So I found a bolt that fitted, screwed it in, this pushed off the disk easily...

With the caliper off and maybe the caliper bracket removed (not always necessary) I reckon these discs will whack off.
However, you don't want to possibly buckle the hub so this shouldn't be overdone.
Occasionally I grind a slot in the disc with an angle grinder, put a cold chisel in the groove and split them that way.
If you have the new discs with you, you'll see they are separate from the hub - before you get past the point of no return! A motor factor will sort you out, and it helps to have your registration number handy.

I see what you mean about that green cap looking like it holds it on, however I dont think this is the case.
First thing is to get the caliper and carrier off as one piece, the bolts for the carrier are often very difficult to loosen. The trick is with stuck carrier bolts is not to hit your spanner with a hammer, but get the longest handle one you have, or extend the handle with pipe, and put strong continued pressure so you don't shear the top off.
Then hit the disk on the edge al the way around a few times, see if this helps. dont hit front and back too hard as you dont want to harm your hub or bearing. There may be a spot behind the disk you could use to lever with a bar. With any luck it will come.
I believe the green capwill more likely be protecting the grease in the hub, will probably pop off. My car runs with this exposed, have never had a problem with it.

hi thanks everyone it looks one piece but its not .the hub bit sticking out is tapered fits tight around disc .anyway got it off with a rubbber mallet lots of knocks while rotating it hope the other side is easy lol thanks everyone
