Can anyone help???!
I have a Nissan Micra S, it's an X reg, 998cc and it's not starting. It seems to be when it's cold, but hard to tell with it being winter. It turns over but takes up to half an hour to get started (engage?). It's been doing it since November, definitelty worse if frosty weather. Sometimes does start first time, when warmer.
It was at a Nissan garage for 6 weeks on and off, they said there's no faults recorded on it, it's had new spark plugs, a new key, a new part that the key actually goes into (the ignition?), and a new cam sensor. It's since had a full service, and the mechanic said there's nothing wrong with it. Nissan's latest idea is it's the ECU, though my local mechanic doesn't agree nor does an ECU specialist I spoke to. I've used that stuff you put in the petrol to clean out your fuel injection system.
I'm stuck.
Does anyone have any ideas? It's driving me mad!
