No array is defined

Hi
When I start my comp a message comes up "no array is defined" press escape to continue loading windows, which I do and all starts up. I reformated the comp but this still happens. Now for some reason my DVD rewriter will not write to disc, not sure if this is connected?? Thanks for any advice.

Sounds like you have a RAID enabled on your system but you are not utilising it. You will probably find a BIOS setting to turn it off if it's not required.
