My friend has a BIASI Savio Prisma 24SE boiler and the switch that controls the central heating is broken. The switch is a black plastic switch on the front of the boiler that selects '"Off" "Timer Off" or "Timer On" and of course it has broken in the off position.
It appears that the switch has become detached from the mechanism inside the boiler - does anyone know if this can just be pushed back or if a new switch is required? Where would we get a new switch from or is it a job for the professionals?
As a temporary measure is it possible to move the mechanism into the "Timer On" position using a screwdriver or something, at least we would have some heat then
Any help would be much appreciated!
