No central heating

Hello,
I have a Baxi Duo-tec Combi HE that is 4 years old and causing alot of problems. The current problem is no central heating. Hot water is working fine. Initially it came on with the timer, then made a constant whirring noise and the radiators went cold. I reset the boiler but no change. I could put the heating on manually but it would go off after about an hour. I have changed the batteries in the wireless timer box and now can't get the heating to come on at all - I assume I have broken a wireless link somewhere?
If anyone knows any solutions I would be very grateful.

you will have to pair the wireless stat and the receiver after you have changed the batteries, make and model ?
