Hi

I just moved out from my parents home I have no idea how to use the boiler. I believe it’s called heatrae sadia

Do I keep the off peak hot water button(purple colour) on all the time or is that a waste of money ? Do I need to use the boost(orange colour )? What is that button on the far right for(circled in yellow ) ? I just turned it on but have no idea what it’s for.

The kitchen water is SO hot and doesn’t seem to switch to cold when the boiler is on.

I know it’s silly silly questions but the landlords agents don’t have answers

Thanks :)

Looks like pressure needs looking at as gauge is down. EV may need charging or replacing also.

Off peak is normally heated by economy 7 over night so it only heats during the pre set time that the electricity meter is set for.

Once up to temperature it’s not using electricity.

Best you check your meter readings to ensure that it’s heating on the E7 rate
