I ony have a drizzle of cold water coming from the shower. Everywhere else the water pressure is fine.

We have a combi boiler and the shower comes straight from the mixer tap. It is one of those victorian looking type things where you can rest the shower head horizontally across the top of it. he shower is so hot I can't get under it!

An ideas?

I assume you are talking about a mixer tap. Does the cold water flow into the bath when you turn it on in tap mode?

If water flows intot he bath but not the shower then there seems to be a problem with the tap. If no flow to the bath either its probably an airlock in the supply to it.

If the latter then forcing mains pressure water by turning on the hot and cold taps together while closing the shower outlet for about two minutes may clear it.

It may be your cold is tank fed and the tank is empty or the outlet is blocked. You need to find the tank ( loft or roof? ) ans see if its full or empty.

If none of these solve it I think you will need to call a plumber.
