I am having my house fully rendered. The existing surface is brickwork.
spoke to my plasterer who has said that K-render "always" shows cracks after a few years even the new stuff which is supposed to have improved even when a sub-base coat of monocouche is used. he recommends a sand and cement mix and then painted!... the thing is I really dont want to paint it again and again for the rest of my life!...anyone know of a product (probably silicon based) which is "through colour"... and flexibe...and which will weather well without causing any cracks.... any help will be appreciated
