Apparently they want sterling not Euros as they know they will be worthless soon as the mighty German economy is starting to falter.

No deal still means paying the £39b

Its obviously worth paying that amount to wreck the economy.

The deal was committment payments upto 2020. If we stay in unil then the amount we owed goes down as we are currently paying part of it whilst we still remain in the EU.
