no hot water heating pilot light not working please help

my potterton combi bolier has gone up the creak the pilot light went out and will not relight

the pump is making a mouse type noise and we have no hot water or heating.the pressure gauge was on 0 just spoke to my plumber and he said it sounds like it all needs venting in the loft can anyone tell me what this involves many thanks jules

How does your plumber know about what's in the loft? If he knows, let him do it, he knows more than any of us on the forum.
