no hot water unless immersion is ON

even if i turn my boiler on ther is no hot water ?

every time i need hot water (baths etc) i need to turn on the emmersion heater. any clues on what the problem is ??

Boiler failed or not switched on?

Controls not selected?

Motor valve failed?

So little information, so many possibilities!

boiler turned on
bioler selected to hot water.
not sure about motorised valve
central heating fine and working well just no hot water
