No hot water until heating comes on (moved from Information)

Hi all,

I was hoping for some advice.
I have a Honeywell ST6400c controller and recently, unless i have the heating set to come on, I am not getting any hot water.

Is it just the controller that needs to be replaced or something else? My boiler is a Potterton Suprima

Please include more details of your system such as motorised valves, cylinder etc. Photos of the airing cupboard are useful.
