Hi

Our Maxima 35C boiler was serviced in June however in the last month it has been playing up and not giving hot water. The CH seems to be working fine which leads me to believe its not an electrical fault. The reset button does not indicate any fault number when pressed (a number of times). Turning it off and on again for various lengths of time did work for a while but doesn't seem to fix the problem any more. Oh and the delay symbol comes on after running the cold hot water tap.
Does anyone know what the water pressure is supposed to read (incase its that). Any other ideas on how to fix this, other than with a baseball bat will be gratefully received.

Cheers

Right. Pressure set to 1.1. We have turned the boiler off and on again and it is still not giving us hot water. Grrrrrr . I swear the instruction manuals are written by somebody's evil henchman! We have also checked and the gas supply is fine. In my limited knowledge the boiler is not firing up and the water temp is stuck at 20 degrees celsius. Any other ideas?

 Good plan, Maybe I won't be able to smell my armpits If I drink enough. But seriously Thanks for your assistance. If anyone else has any thoughts I would desperately love a hot shower!!!!

Your boiler sems to be recognising a demand for hot water so I would come to the conclusion that it has a fault. Just possibly a PCB fault or a DHW sensor fault.

So unless you can measure the resistance of each sensor cold then you might have to call in an engineer.
