no hot water

Hi,

I have exactly the same problem with my baxi boiler. The water only gets warm. I left it running for about 6 hours and had reasonbly hot water, but not as hot as it used to get after about 1 hour.

If the header tank is empty, does anyone know why it should suddenly stop working, because it was fine one day and then faulty the next day. If it is the case of just an empty tank, how do i fill it up.

Ball valve may be stuck close. Water evaporated. Need to get into tank and physically wiggle it about until it moves freely. Otherwise change ball valve its only a few quid!

Could be air in the system. It won't pump round. Could be your feed pipe is blocked - do a search!
