no hot water

combi potterton performa eco 24 he
when on central heating the boiler is running fine but when you turn nob to to hot water it dosent come on the red light flashes the pump is running fine.
any help or suggestions much appricated.

take front cover off and check if the diaverta vavle is making
do not take the galvnised steel cover of just the painted one

do mean to say its making contact with switch,

yes on the left hand side boiler their is brass disc shaped object with a pin in it when hot water runs does this pin move out and make contact with micro switch
