No pressure for shower

Connected the shower up today and turned it on for the first time.
water dribbled out like an old man taking a waz....
the shower is coming off a cold feed 22mm pipe which goes on to feed bath.
i checked stop cock and checked it had been put on full, and also checked outside to make sure the incoming stopcock was also on full.

should i be looking for a possible airlock ? or should i contact the water board to report low water pressure ???
taps in bathroom producing a good flow rate.

what if i ask plumber to take feed for shower direct from main feed ???

Most likely an instant resolution since shower normally requires this.

Unless the unbalanced pressure screws with the shower operation.

Some can handle it - some can't.

forgot to add the shower was recently purchased from homebase
