I really need help my hot water system banged last month
I'm pretty sure it was the expansion tank now my upstairs heat(different zone) is not working properly. Two pipes fork off of one pump for the upstairs. One is hot in one room the other is cold.Ive bleed it and also alot of water came out now all it does is recirculate(loudly) and start the furnace but no heat to the touch.Maybe i need more water in it but I can't figure out how.It is -30 farenhieght out with the wind.I'm running out of ideas
Thanks

I have some difficulty understanding you. But it sounds like your system could be short of water. Check that there is water in the header tank , and that the level drops if you let some water out of a drain cock. Sometimes the feed pipe down from the header tank gets blocked.

I added more water and with that and the pressure build up from running so much it seems to have resolved itself(pushed the air out i guess)
Thanks for advised that helped. :D :D
