Hi everyone, about 2 months ago I had a replacement bath, sink & WC installed.
Thye sink has one tap, turn the lever left gives hot water & turn to the right gives cold water, which works. The problem is when I pull the tap lever up to turn the water on there is a loud strange noise coming from the tap, if I turn the tap on full then the noise is hardly there. The noise at its loudest is when I mix the hot & cold water and there is a loud straining noise through the taps & the pipes.
My cold water comes from the tank in the loft & the hot water comes from a combination boiler. When I bought the btaps frpm the suppliers my Plumber was with me & he discussed with them that the hot & cold water are coming through at different pressures & that the tap we buy must be able to handle this.
Any help would be very much appreciated.
Thanks
Eamonn
