Sink in ktichen makes water gurgle noises when clothes washer is draining after rinse cycle. My washer is on the upstairs level of the house. Is there a vent our something? Forgot to mention the ktchen sink is a double sink and the noise is coming from the none disposal side of the sink.

I know what you mean. Lots of sinks do this, though. I'm not a plumber but I do have one sink that does this and another that doesn't. The difference seems to be the type of fitting under the sink. One type allows water to bubble up into the sink part of the waste pipe - sometimes you can actually see the bubbles. If you really hate the gurgling, you can probably fix it simply by changing the type of fitting. Again, a plumber will advise.
