how can u test a pump in situ and what type do i replace with if faulty as heating is banging apollo 30/50 fanfare .also pilot and gas go out after heating for approx 35 seconds
First try changing its speed (1-2-3 usually). If you still feel/hear no differences as you do it, it's dead. Try a Search on "pump" + "screw"
Try it on speed 3 if it's working.
Apollo's tend to overheat, and the thermostats fail. Does it do it on both Hi and Lo settings?

sounds like although your motor is spinning, the pump is not pushing the water round, grondfos are the best ones to get put in,
its got to be the pump or ever rad on the system is shut
