HELP!!. My boiler is a ravenheat 820/20t fanned combi, when switching on both the CH and HW after 10 seconds or so the boiler makes like a boiling kettle kind of sound until the system is very hot then it seems to quieten down. If i turn the thermostat on the boiler down it also quietens down and when i turn it up to max the noise comes back. I have drained the whole system and the water seemed very clean, so i decided to take out the heat exchanger and blast it trough with a pressure washer, this was also clean. I live in a soft water area so the build up of scale would be unlikely. I have now added a cleaning additive to the system. time will tell. Can anyone advise me on what else could cause these sort of noises? Thanks
