Noisy cold water tank refill

Moved into our first house and finally got round to buying another waterbed, upon filling for ages (hot tap) the pipes in the airing cupboard started making a god awful noise, like vibrating and very loud, made the misses cry!

We done so investigation work, checked the pipes all clicked in.

I then lifted the cover to cold water tank and pushed down on the float valve slightly and aha the noise is coming from the valve thingy.

If I lift it up to stop water flow no noise, push it down and Thor is nearby.

So is it a new valve and bobs ya lover?

You could try prestex-float-valve as I understand they have a good reputation for being quieter than many.

Part 2 float valve.
I would also double check that the pipes are clipped properly where you can.
