I've got some noisy guttering - it is a right angle that ends a straight run and overhangs the roof (hope that makes sense - it's so the water runs from a small hip at the top of the house across the roof presumably to save the building firm £5 on a downpipe) - unfortunately whenever it's windy it bangs the tiles and I'm trying to figure out what's the best way to stop it - there seems to be nothing to attach it to (there's only itself and tile up there) - I was thinking about lining it with some lead flashing to give it some weight but I'm sure someone else must have solved the same problem so any suggestions would be appreciated.

would have thought the best you can do is fix a bracket as close to the end of the straight run as possible and keep the return as short as possible.
Failing that you could try using some sort of strap fixed up under the tiles to try and restrain it
