Noisy Ideal Mexico Boiler - What Cleanser and Descaler ?

I have a noisy boiler and the FAQs / Sticky here suggests that it is worth trying chemical cleaning before doing anything more radical.

It says: "...Add non-acidic cleanser plus a de-scaler to the feed and expansion tank...".

Would Fernox DS-40 do both jobs ?

Thats not very well written.

If its lime scale in the boiler which is usually what causes kettling then sentinel X200 is the chemical to use.

DS40 is acidic and not suitable for lime scale.

DS3, sulphamic acid is also acidic but suitable for lime scale.
