The house ive bought has a problem with noise in the loft when its very windy. Its mainly only over 1 bedroom which seems to have had the ceiling replaced with plasterboard(unsure of thickness). The other 2 bedrooms have original plaster & lathe ceilings and hardly any noticible noise from the loft. theres 150mm of insulation through out. I was considering boarding the loft with loftboards for some light storage anyway, so was wondering if this would be enough to deaden most of the noise before i started? or can anyone suggest any other material to use?
thanks
