We have a pressurised heating system that is about 5 years old. The boiler is a Vokera. In the last two months an intermittent problem has started occurring. After the system is switched off (about half an hour) there is a loud noise (lasting about 5 seconds) emanating from the radiators/pipes, sounding like a ship scraping along an iceberg, not a water hammer noise. This noise can reoccur up to every half an hour all night until the boiler comes back on in the morning. Sometimes it will not happen for a week.
Any advise would be welcomed.
