Hi,

Just moved house and had new mixer taps installed in the bathroom sink, the bath and downstairs toilet.

The taps in the bathroom and down stairs taps especially make a loud whooshing noise when they are turned half way. On a little and on full, no noise at all, just the noise of water running through. But when turned halfway, they make a noise. If I am downstairs, I can hear if someone turns the taps on upstairs.

I have tried turning the water pressure down, but that has made no affect.

Suggestions welcomed.

Thanks

Because of how the water flows through the ceramic discs the flow of water is disrupted in a different way to washered taps, causing the noise.

Although mine don't suffer.
