Noisy WD62

Hi there

We've had a Hotpoint WD62 from new, but its started making a funny noise - its when the machine is emptying and when it is drying...but it doesn't do it all the time when on drying cycle...

I've taken the top & back off but can't see anything obvious...

Do you have any ideas?? Its like a 'parping' sound...???

sounds are very difficult to descibe. i will say though that it's about due for a new pump which would explain the sound whilst draining and drying. it could also just be something in the pump.
