Nokia 3310 default unlock.

I have one of these which is open to all networks but seems to have been set to ask for a security code on power up.

I thought the default unlock code was 12345 but that does not work.

Does anyone know if that is the default code and what I can do to unlock it now if its been set with a personal unlock code?

Tony, theres adverts up down Tooting high street to unlock phones from 99p.

Cant imagine yours would give them much trouble!

Firstly it does not work and secondly I thought they were five digits!

Hi tony,

The default is indeed 12345 so it seems someone has changed it.

I have a utility here which will give you your phone's 10 digit "master code" which you can enter in place of the 5 digit security code.

I need the IMEI number, which you can obtain by pressing *#06#.

I should like to give Ninebob a hearty thankyou for taking the trouble to email me and get the IMEI and then give me the correct unlock code!

That comes at a particularly opportune time when I needed cheering up as I had my vehicle broken into on a customers drive tonight and they stole an ( old ) mobile phone and TWO satnavs!

I have had TWO Garmin 3i and both failed with the same problem the power socket on the unit. It was not working and in the glovebox!

The stolen one has a bracket on the windscreen but I had hid the unit inside but they went around the inside until they found it and took the bracket and power lead as well.

Usually I take the unit inside with me but as that was on a private drive I did not bother.

Very annoyingly I heard a car alarm but I had never heard mine before and it sounded some distance away!!! These professionals are so quick they were probaby not bothered anyway!
