Nokia D-Box for Cable

Does anyone have any experience of them? Are they reliable?

Ah haven't got cable yet. Should be getting sky + their broadband soon though. Guess ill just have to get a honda in the mean time....

So the box replaces the set top box, or its instead of the satelite dish? Or should i just stop being lazy and google it?

Yep it replaces the set top box. You still need the dish for sky and the cable for .....well...... cable.

Does it record tv etc aswell? Aka like the sky plus box?

Is it a one off fee, or do you 'rent' it like the sky packages?

have only used them a few times. seem to be more reliable and faster loading than the standard cable boxes

You can get your regular 5 channels (bbc 1, 2, itv, ch 4,5) and all the other garbage itv 2, bbc 3, 4 etc etc etc......
Basically you get everything Cable broadcast except the pay per view movies.
It's not a subscription - you buy a box (from Germany), replace your old box with this one and you have a little more than what you started with.

As Simon_d says - it's also a faster box at switching between channels. I reckon it's worth the £117 (delivered) just to have a faster switching box - let alone what else they do!
