Non Return Valves

Hi,

Im looking for a site that has general information on Non Return Valves....ie what they're for, where they are placed etc....

as the name suggests they stop the medium water gas etc flowing backwards
are used on direct mains connection to prevent foul water flowing into the main

also known as check valves or double check valves

Hi, thx for the info....but what is medium water gas? Im new to this but trying to undertand it. Thats why I would like to find a really good site that explains everything.

i bought a box full of them once, but they were the wrong size, i took them back to the shop to exchange them and the bloke said "i cant mate, they are non return".
