Normal brushable paint in paint sprayer

Hi

Asked this in the gardening section but may be better to ask here.

I purchased a large tub (9l) of Cuprinol Ducksback to paint my fence. I have used approx half the tub but have now bought a Cuprinol cordless sprayer (half price in my local B&Q). On the back of the Ducksback it says "not suitable for spraying". Is this due to the consistency? Is sprayable fencecare just thinner? Could I add water to the ducksback to use in the sprayer?

Worth a try...but dont mix it all it might not work and the whole of it will be knackered
