Not enough water

Can anyone help me please? We have just moved and are having probs with the washing machine. New one delivered on Tuesday, after first wash everything came out really hot, we have since discovered that the hot and cold pipes are mixed up so we changed them but now the washing machine isnt getting enough water - does anyone know why this could be??

What make and model is it? How much water is it taking in for the main wash?

cold flow is too little?

how does the cold fill pipe (the real one) connect to the copper cold pipe?

is it a) a tap sitting / clamped on the cold pipe

b) T eed off the cold pipe

c) something else
