My house is a new build and only 6 years old, but whoever put the kitchen in must have been blind as it's an awful old fashioned looking kitchen. The sort of thing my mother would have had in her days!

I want to replace all the kitchen doors and i have seen some lovely one, but for the life of me i cannot find any doors to fit the two larder units i have in the kitchen. The only place i have found them is from sites who are selling what they have left from MFI. And of course i can't get all the doors from these sites as they only have so many of each style left.

I can easily find all my wall and base units for a really good price at B & Q, but i must have tried over 50 different sites for the doors for my larder units and can't get the doors anywhere!!

Is there any way i can do something with my kitchen doors i.e. paint them, they are what i think you would call formica/laminate - im just not sure but they are a cheap basic looking grey and white door. (not wooden) I just need to do something with them as they are awful.
Any ideas would be fantastic.

The two larders i have are both 1960 in height, one is 300 wide with a top door of 1230 and a bottom door of 720 ( i can get the 720s easily) and the second larder is 1960 high, 500 wide with a top door again or 1230 and a bottom door of 720 (again i can get this bottom door) It is the top doors of 1230 that i just cannot get.

Many thanks for any ideas or replies.

You will find your standard door size for a larder cupboard unit at a height of 1960mm are
1245x296 and 715x296
1245x496 and 715x496
These are the standard sizes and unless your kitchen was bespoke, which by your description of it's quality is unlikely.
They will do the job.

Thank you for both of your replies.

As my door measures 1230, would it be alright to fit the 1245, would this not be too big or would it not make hardly any difference!!
Maybe ive been being too rigid with the measurements. ( i hope this is the case).
