I have a combined thermostatic valve and bath/shower mixer (hansgrohe Ibox type) which has a non return valve in each input. They have a hole only about 6mm diameter. The valve as a whole is quite restrictive. Can anyone see why these nrv's are needed? If not I'll hoike them out and see what difference it makes.
Supplied by a twin pump.

No reply so far from mfr.

Since you've got tank fed supplies, there seems little point in the nrvs. I guess the German design is aimed at mains fed systems. Hoping it's not a trick question

Assuming the pressures are equal, should'nt be a problem, otherwise its check valve time.
