Oak Beams Merchant needed Gloucestershire/Oxfordshire/Bristo

Hi,

I am looking for some tips with my latest projects! I am about to start work on an Oak structure (pergola type thing) in the garden at my Wife's insistence and would very much like some pointers on companies in my local area.

I live in Frampton On Severn Gloucestershire and have not undertaken a project like this for many years. (Im used to building wendy houses etc) Im building off plan as I would like this to have a rustic feel. I have a property in France and had some builders erect something similar over there but am keen to do this my self.

I need good quality Oak that ideally can be delivered within 2 weeks.

I have been advised by some friends that the following companies are good but would like some advise beforer I commit to travelling as Im somewhat out in the sticks here!!

I've used timberpride and had good service and decent bits of oak. Would happily use again. Had a good chat on the phone first, too.

Thanks for all the replys, I spoke to a gentleman this afternoon from www.timberpride.co.uk who like you said proved to be very helpfull.

I rang around a few places this morning but found this place to be the most helpful so am expecting a delivery early next week.

On another note Im hoping to add regular images and updates on my projects.
