Oak Parquet Wax/Oil advice

Hiya

I have a an oak parquet floor that has been under a carpet for 30 years. It's in quite good nick, few stains etc.

I want to buff it up - it looks quite dry in areas an under nourished. Can you suggest anything? Was going to hire a floor machine.

Depends on what was used of the finish layer: varnish/lacquer or oil/wax.

There are suitable maintenance products available for both types of finishes, don't use the wrong product
