My sleepers have been plained and sanded (with 80 grit). Originally, the plan was to use Textrol oil for a finish, and we already found a colour we like and tested on some offcuts, however on reading more about the product it says it isn't suitable for new wood (because of mill glaze) so all of a sudden I'm not sure what to do.
Do you think there is any option to use Textrol, or should I use something else?
