I sanded down my oak island worktop because it was scratched etc. and in need of some TLC. It sanded well and I've begun to apply Danish oil.
I'm on the third coat but it's looking very patchy with some areas shinny and other areas dull. I'm applying the oil woth a cloth, leaving it 10 mins and then wiping off the excess. Should I just keep going and it'll even out?
