odd looking bugs

Been removing very old skirting board and noticed these strang little bugs running for cover, they are about 3mm long and look like fish and are fast runners, cant find any info on net to adivse.......any ideas of what they are

Silverfish are rather longer than 3mm.

They are not silverfish but have a similiar shaped body but without all the antennas, I tried to get a photo but they would just run fast,,,,,,,these must be olympic bugs or something,when I move a skirting board I use a blowtorch to eliminate them before they dissappear,are there any websites with pictures I can relate to.
