Odd shaped window

Hi all - could use your help!

We just bought a house and my daughter's bedroom will have this odd shaped window. There is a place to hang a curtain, but since it is so slanted won't it just slide down? Plus it would have to be custom made or it will just look strange. Thoughts? I definitely need some sort of curtain to block out the sun.

You could sew a good magnet into the top hem of the curtain and once slid up to close the curtains it would stick to the bracket at the top. The bias of the curtain could be a challenge though so maybe vertical slat blinds would be better.

Good point about the vertical slant blinds. I guess I would need a custom size made so they aren’t uneven at the bottom
