odd valve

breezer

I was in this loft , and i found this "valve" clearly written on it was "try over there"

I suppose it must have been a diverter valve :)

No, the ones that say "go over there" are bypass valves.

this could run........

The ones which make you walk strangely if you have them in your pockets are gait valves...............

Bravo Chris!
This thread will rapidly go beyond the point of non return valve.

as it was telling you to try over there....................

maybe it was a control valve

Sounds a bit of a pipe-dream to me, but gives relief.......
but if any time you looked at it, and then complied with the "oi, look over there" what would be the reason for it's existence; do you think it knows it's not important, but the one "over there" is more important, do you think it suffers? how troubling, I'm not going in my loft; it took me years to work out what a "dry-riser" was as that troubled me, "how could something rise if it was dry? i'm going for a lie down again.
