We have quite a few minor cracks in our house where walls meet ceilings. I've usually put this down to seasonal changes, especially as the house is on clay soil. It was built in the 80s, so most walls are plaster board.
Recently I've noticed a horizontal crack about ten cm long, about one cm down from where the wall meets the ceiling. It's only a couple of mm wide, but when you run your finger over it you can fell that the bottom part has come forward a little bit. Like. If you were to fill it it wouldn't be flat and smooth.
Is this anything to worry about, or just one if the joys of modern houses?
