I have recently had oil central heating installed, could some one please tell me what the regulations are for a flu that is less than 2 meters from ground level and the wire mesh guard will not stop an adult let alone a child from touching the hot Flu.

if youve just had it recently installed it should be a condensing boiler. flue gas 50 -80C . not a lot to worry about.
