Oil Boiler low pressure

It all started with noisy pipes when taps turned on. Then noticed while bleeding rads that upstairs rads not hiss air or leak water when not in use but did fill with water when heating on. Noticed that gauge on boiler in garage reading low pressure as in picture. Online research suggests I'm looking for a braided tube with two valve taps on. To be used to allow water into the system. Didn't find one on boiler but did find one in house. Is this the one and should it work ?

There is ,out of focus, what could be a filling loop.
The parts in focus are motorised valves (electric devices ) .

Thank you for the reply, so do you think it's a filling loop, seems to track back to water pipe coming into the house.

A clear picture of it ,and pipes it is connected to, would be helpful.

The upright pipe from the top end of the braided pipe goes to a T junction one end of which goes to the big tap with the label attached. The bottom end of the braided pipe goes to the stop cock coming into the house.

Yes ,the flexible hose with small black handles at both ends is the filling loop.

That's great thanks, why isn't with the boiler in the garage. So should be able to turn both taps at either end of the braided pipe until the black and red needle are together or at 1.5 pressure ?

Dont know what black needle you are referring to ? The white needle indicates actual system pressure ( which you need to increase to around 1.2 bar when system is cold). The red needle can be ignored ,that is supposed to be set on commissioning to show what the optimum system pressure should be set to, which is highly unlikely to be anywhere near 2.5 bar !!
You would need to turn both black handles to their open positions in order for water to flow into the system to top up pressure.
I can only speculate that it was convenient to plumb in the filling loop remotely from the boiler , possibly because there is no mains cold water pipework near it.
