when i unscrew oil filter from toyota advensis what is the best way to get it out do i have to remove anything

If it's the 1.8 petrol you just throw it away and fit a new one.

It's also a throw away filter and it seems that depending on the year there are two different filters.

i think i have told it wrong when i unscrew filter from engine it is difficult to get it out of engine compartment
